The range is 95% sensitive scalp tested, where it feels mild for both scalp and hair. The range is also compatible with the skin's natural pH, pH 5.5 to revitalize and protect the scalp barrier.
What’s good about a pH balanced shampoo?
The outermost layer of a healthy scalp, the stratum corneum is covered with a mix of sweat and sebum and is slightly acidic. The excessively acidic or alkaline levels may induce problems such as the dry scalp. The Ryo Derma Scalp Care Range washes the scalp to be clean and healthy without affecting its acidity balance.
It is made with 100% healthy ingredient from Jeju and 100% naturally derived Centella Asiatica, harvested in the clean nature of Madagascar with every 1kg of the Centella Asiatica component - Madecassoside can be extracted from 560kg of fresh Centella plants. The Madecassoside helps to build a protective barrier on the irritated scalp.
Our scalp is prone to losing moisture due to its weakened skin barrier from harmful external stimuli on the epidermis surface. Madecassoside forms a thin film on the surface of the scalp and emits external irritants which help to strengthen the skin barrier for a healthy scalp.
The Ryo Derma Scalp Care range comes in two types of shampoo targeting sensitive and oily scalp and for sensitive and dry scalp, whereas the conditioner for sensitive scalp.
The range is also hypoallergenic with 0% silicone oil and sulfate surfactant. The shampoo is 10-free; silicone oil, sulfate surfactant, PEG surfactant, artificial fragrance, synthetic colourant, animal ingredients, mineral oil, triethanolamine, polyacrylamide and imidazolidinyl urea. The Ryo Derma Scalp Care conditioner is 8-free; silicone oil, artificial fragrance, synthetic colourant, animal ingredients, mineral oil, triethanolamine, polyacrylamide and imidazolidinyl urea.
